In London, England 1975 a new age in rock music surfaced, a movement lead by the band called Motorhead. The front man Ian Kilmister also known as Lemmy who, at 16, was interested in listening to The Beatles and Jemi Hendricks. He was interested in Rock N Roll embracing everything that it stood for. He wanted to have his own voice, he was inspired to create his own band which brought together two other band members to join forces: Larry Wallis and Lucas Fox.

They brought together their fusions of punk rock, playing fast guitar in a thrash head-banging style, eventually paving the way for speed metal. Motorhead released their first album self titled “Motorhead” in 1977. They realized great success when they had released “Ace of Spades” in 1980 the album peaked at number four in the charts. By this time Motorhead had a reached a loyal fan base as they continued to appear on television, interviews, magazines and touring.

Through the years Motorhead toured in various countries such as UK, America, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Argentina and many others. Motorhead continued to headline major festivals, they also toured with other bands Metallica and Guns N Roses.

Last year Motorhead all time front man Ian Kilmister, incredibly had been battling long with cancer. His massive contribution to Rock, Punk and heavy metal will forever go into the hall of Rock gods.

There will never be anyone like him that could strum a guitar like thunder. Motorhead released 22 albums total, with their final Album released in 2015 called Bad Magic. They have gone beyond industry record producing more than any other rock band has ever made.

This year in 2018, past members have announced that they will touring Motorhead for a tribute concert to their leading man playing in major cities giving one last hooray to their millions of fans.
